The Mei Hong Laboratory renovation project was successfully completed on time and on budget during full occupancy of the research lab and consisted of the installation of a 400 NMR magnet, the addition of a specialized cooling unit and various supporting trade scopes. The compressed schedule was 4 weeks, coupled with the labs ongoing operation challenged the team to work off hours and weekends to ensure the room was ready for the magnet delivery and installation by overseas installers. Additionally, the clean room atmosphere required constant attention and calculated negative pressurization of the space throughout construction.
