Who We Are Callahan Constructing Communities
We also believe that in order to work successfully in a community, we must first become a true partner. Constructing Communities is our community partnership blueprint and reflects our core principles of integrity, quality, service, customer satisfaction and outstanding project management.
The Constructing Communities program reflects the family culture of Callahan and strives to support the local economy and workforce, inspire and mentor young people poised to become the next great engineer, architect, or builder, and serve as a positive partner for the local community during and long after construction is complete.
For Callahan, each project is an opportunity to inspire the next generation of engineers, architects, and builders to provide them with invaluable real world experience. Callahan is committed to working with local K-12 schools and vocational and technical schools to provide students with a real world STEM classroom through job shadowing and on-site tours. While touring the job sites, students will not only learn about day to day operations of the construction industry, but we also connect their frameworks to the real world. This gives the students a connection and helps them develop their knowledge on how to maximize opportunities in the future. Students get to experience the various stages and phases of construction first-hand over the course of the school year.
