The Boston Scientific project is a renovation and construction project within the currently occupied building to provide new offices and administration spaces beneath a new equipment mezzanine inside the building. The scope of work includes relocating the staff into temporary office trailers outside the building while Callahan performs interior demolition, excavations to support underground utilities, new structural footings for the new equipment mezzanine overhead, and finishes. All work is being performed as the facility remains active as an integral part of BSCI’s global logistics system. Callahan is working closely with on-site Facilities and EH&S to monitor and ensure Construction activities do not impact the day-to-day business operations of the Facility.
BSCI is a manufacturer of medical devices used in interventional medical specialties, including interventional radiology. This is more focused on medical device production and clinical applications rather than pharmaceutical R&D services.
