Callahan Construction Managers is breaking new ground with Jones Street Investment Partners on this transformative 236-unit, six-story mixed-use development in the heart of South Boston. Spanning approximately 226,000 gross square feet, the project delivers 236 thoughtfully designed apartments (including 36 income-restricted units), activated ground-floor retail and community spaces, and a new publicly accessible park at the corner of West First Street and West Second Street. Rising on the former Shaughnessy crane yard, the building converts an industrial site into a vibrant residential hub with extensive streetscape improvements, dozens of new trees, enhanced pedestrian safety, and on-site bike share docking.
