Callahan provided construction management services for the new 50,000 SF ice arena. The arena is constructed from a pre-engineered metal building on a 7-acre site. The arena includes 1 full sheet and 1 half sheet of ice and both rinks were built on concrete refrigerated floors. The entire roof surface of the building is covered in PV panels to reduce energy costs. Rink amenities include a full service restaurant, a 2,000 SF fitness center, lobby with fireplace and a pro shop. Also included were custom bleachers for 850 spectators that provide an excellent view of the ice surface.
