For more than 65 years, the Callahan family business has specialized in creating the special spaces that fill our lives — from home, to school, to work, and beyond. Their portfolio represents a range of new construction and major renovation projects across multiple markets, and we break ground on roughly 30 projects each year.
Callahan Construction invited Quincy High Schools’ Career and Technical Metal Fabrication, Plumbing, Electrical, and Construction students to visit their two sites in Quincy; Mariana Bay and Crown Colony. The students will visit both sites 4 times this year to watch the progression of each project. During their visit the CTE students met with the Chief Operations Officer, Safety Officer, Director of Field Operations as well as the Project Managers. This was exciting for students as they were able to ask questions and get a feel for how such projects develop, are managed as well as tour both sites.

Callahan Construction Managers sponsored the American Dream Awards Breakfast for Habitat for Humanity at the Seaport Boston Hotel. Each year the event honors people who have been partners in Habitat’s mission to build affordable homes for and with low income families. This year’s recipients were Boston Mayor Marty Walsh and Julian Edelman of the New England Patriots. Callahan is extremely proud to be a continued supporter of the organization.
“As a residential builder there is no greater feeling than knowing we build the places people call home, which is why this organization was important for us to partner with,” said Patrick Callahan, President. “We are proud to be a part of helping people achieve home ownership,” he added.

The Callahan Construction team consistently engages in community outreach efforts to educate community members, charitable organizations, and students about the importance of safety on the job site. This past holiday season fifteen of Callahan’s team members volunteered at Rosie’s Place, located in Boston, MA, for what has become an annual tradition.
The team cooked, served, cleaned up and covered the the cost of a nutritious lunch for over 150 women and children. “As always it was an enjoyable team building experience for Callahan”, said Jessica Anthony, Project Manager at Callahan.
Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Their mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives.
Today, Rosie’s Place not only provides meals and shelter but also creates answers for 12,000 women a year through wide-ranging support, housing and education services.
Over the holiday season the Callahan team spent a day volunteering their time at Rosie’s Place – cooking, cleaning, and serving meals to women in need. Located in Boston, MA, Rosie’s Place provides meals, shelter, support, housing, and education services for women.
“Not only was it great to be able to give back but it was an enjoyable team building experience”, said Raj Bhangoo, Director of Business Development and Marketing for Callahan. “Rosie’s Place is a great organization that impacts the lives of so many women and we are happy to support them in their fight to end homelessness.”
